Top Trends from the 2026 Kitchen and Bath Industry Show
At the 2026 Kitchen and Bath Industry Show in February, more than 100,000 editors, experts and artisans gathered to see the latest and greatest industry innovations from more than 600 vendors. Over the course of the three-day event, several themes emerged—from new shapes to high-tech appliances to reconfigurations of the way we store our personal items and gather with our friends and families.
Sinks for Gathering

Why have one kitchen sink and faucet when you could have two in the same island? Taking a cue from his-and-her bathroom vanities, Kohler introduced its new “Synthos” series, in which deep basins and tiered ledges not only provide tons of space for washing and cleaning, but also tiered ledges to support cutting boards, drying racks and other food-prep tools. We’ve long known that the kitchen is the heart of the home; the Synthos lines not only recognizes that, it makes it easier—and more beautiful—to gather with loved ones.
Statement-Making Storage

A statement-making piece from Worthen Furniture in Virginia mixes sleek design with chef-level open storage. Anchored to both the floor and the ceiling, homeowners can add shelves to the handsome brass framework more storage without sacrificing sight lines.
Mixed Stones

As interiors move away from muted colors toward brighter, more personal designs, it makes sense that organic-looking custom stonework follow. Imperfect but beautiful, this design looks like a patchwork quilt even though the stones and colors could feel at at home in any space.
Multi-Function Faucets

Most faucets offer filtering technology these days—but what about one that not only filters out up to 99 percent of harmful microplastics but also has options for super-chilled and sparkling water? That’s what Australia-based Zip Water faucets do—and they’re touch-based and come in pretty brushed brass and brushed gunmetal gray finishes, too.
Rounded Edges

This trend has been elbowing its way back into residential design since last year and shows no signs of easing up. While it’s a classic case of “what’s old is new again”—curved furniture first made a splash in the 1950s—it feels just as fresh in 2026 as it did back then, allowing homeowners to change the entire vibe of a room by swapping out a piece of furniture. We’re big fans of the way curved edges soften and add interest to kitchen cabinetry, too.
