Client Work: Six Beautiful Custom Bathrooms

Sure, a bathroom can be purely utilitarian—after all, there is a very logical reason for its existence. But a bathroom can also be a sanctuary—a space where you get ready to face the day in the morning or unwind in the evening. At Metro Cabinet Company, our goal is always to make the bathrooms we design pretty. Here are five that we think are exceptionally lovely that might even spark some ideas for your own remodel.

Harbor Acres

All that glitters is not gold—or is it? This bathroom remodel was a total transformation—a change from a Northern Italian-themed main bathroom to this crisp coastal design overlooking Sarasota Bay’s blue waters. The glass wall tile is backed with gold leaf in a linear horizontal pattern and the floors look like Calacatta marble but are actually made from durable porcelain tile. See more here.

St. Judes Drive

Osprey Landing

A flock of flamingos—in the form of wallpaper!—add whimsy to this bathroom, which opens up to a stunning outdoor space. The marble-topped vanity adds a neutral focal point, as does the wood floors. See the full tour here.

Nokomis Project

We’re smitten with the soothing tropical patterns and organic shapes from this Nokomis project, which nod to Florida’s tropical setting without going over-the-top bright.

Longboat Key Condo

We loved working on this Longboat Key condo with Jill and Holly of Chic on the Cheap. The cabinets are a perfect complement to the colorful wallpaper, which gives a beachy, boho vibe to the entire space. See more from this project here.
