Plaza at Five Points condominium

CHALLENGES

The client requested to use the same overall foot print however in a much cleaner and modern finish. Many condominiums have kitchens with non-right angles as a result of engineering and building construction. In this kitchen there was one angle that had the sink on it with a pass through to the living space. The cooktop and oven were a back drop to this and drawers and wall cabinets were used to maximize the storage area. Modern finishes were used with the richness of the walnut and the durability and depth of the Shitake quartz enhancing the overall modern presentation.

MATERIALS

Countertops:    Shitake 4230 quartz by Caesarstone®, 4 cm with a full height backsplash in the same material
Cabinets:    Estridge door with domestic veneer / sequential flat cut walnut/ Java stain with a 30 sheen
Hardware:    Top Knobs TK1047
Lighting:    LED lightstrip was used under the wall cabinets
