Essex House condominium

CHALLENGES

Tatiana White, AIA, NCARB, was challenged with combining two individual penthouse units into one residence. The new kitchen is located in the middle of the two units with a beautiful Sarasota Bay view. Large open areas and clean modern lines were used to update and complement the owners taste. Most of the cabinetry is drawer space. The refrigerator was recessed into a pantry area behind it so that it would appear built in. Additional storage was added left and right of the wine cooler. Opposing backsplashes are exterior glass with Sarasota Bay in the background and red for that splash of color.
